Misty L. Bishop is the Founder of Love, Spirit & Truth Publishing who happens to be an author, screenwriter, former radio personality/recording artist, contract analyst, paralegal and community activist. She's also the founder of the non-profit organization, #WeAre1 Movement which focus on empowering and uplifting the urban communities to their potential by advocating for equality and justice for all people who have been oppressed and misunderstood. Nevertheless, she is the VP of Student Affairs & Marketing for a youth and young adult organization called Swag Achievement Organization. Misty also has a Bachelor of Science in Administration of Justice/Speech Communication and Executive Masters of Public Administration from Texas Southern University's Barbara Jordan and Mickey Leland School of Public Affairs along with her Paralegal Certificate from Southwestern Professional Institute. Along with her educational background, she has 20 years of experience working within the oil & gas industry, law firms and education field as an administrator or paralegal. Misty is also aspired to receive a Juris doctorate and PhD in Public Policy in the near future to practice law.
Not only did Misty a Houston native from Grimes County Texas wear many hats as a businesswoman and has additional educational and career goals she wants to reach, she's also a wife of 25 years to the Co-founder & visual artist, Mack L. Bishop III and the mother of four sons as well as the daughter of Rev. Mary L. Shotlow of the United Methodist Church and sibling of rising talents-Shelle Shotlow Cooks, Cameron and CJ Shotlow of CJSlim Production.

Mack Leon Bishop III is a devoted father of four sons and the husband of Misty L Bishop, a Texas Southern University and Houston Baptist University alumnus. Mack is also a visual artist by the name of #Worldurbanartist on social media, Director of Arts/Board Member of Swag Achievement Organization and former Art Teacher at Spring Independent School District. He also made guest appearances and/or displayed his artworks in over 20 art exhibitions, 4 fine art driven festivals, PBS, Houston oldest station KCOH, The Houston Fox26 and KHOU Great Day with Debra Duncan. Mack also thanks his late uncle Thomas Lee Robert for being his inspiration and influence to embrace the arts. His uncle influence played a significant role in his life and mold him to be a visual artist that is not afraid to create or venture out of his comfort zone with an eccentric, vibrant and mosaic style with items we take granted of such as fallen tree branches, shattered glass and broken doors. Symbolically, Mack uses the doors as a canvas for 60% of his art composition. He states the doors are proof that we as a people create in our own reality, and in spite of the reality, we are told to accept it; so, we blaze a trail and embrace the fire for which we are conceived of light and destined by Mother Nature…the Queen of all creation to direct our own path. Therefore, Mother Nature blessed all of us to claim our place in a divine purpose as this generation’s next leader to open the doors and blaze the trails of our life journey.
