Press release writing and editing
We will develop a press release that can be utilized throughout a publicity campaign that provides a quality synopsis of the book and touches on key points that may be of interest to reviewers, journalists, and others. If a release has already been developed, we will review and edit the release to make it most effective for its intended purposes.

Press release blast to a minimum of 500 media
We will send out an email blast to 500 media contacts, using the press release to draw potential interest. The blast will be targeted toward outlets that cover books and also the subject matter of the book (especially in the case of nonfiction). The blast will target a combination of media including print outlets, radio outlets, television stations, Websites, blogs, and other online destinations, and local media in the author’s hometown market. Any requests for books and interviews will be coordinated and facilitated by us.

10+ radio interviews guaranteed
Throughout the course of the campaign, we will arrange a minimum of 10 radio interviews with national and local radio shows throughout the country. These interviews, which will be conducted via phone, generally last between 5 and 60 minutes in length. We will target formats and markets that are most appropriate for the book and subject matter. We will provide the authors with detailed information for each interview and work with them on their availability.

5+ online placements guaranteed
Throughout the course of the campaign, we will arrange for a minimum of five hits with targeted online venues. This includes possible reviews, interviews, blog posts,excerpts, round-ups, mentions, guest blogs, and any other possible coverage. We will focus on sites and blogs that are most appropriate for the book and subject matter. We will provide LST and the author with any details they need related to coverage and will provide links to coverage as they become available.

Pitches to radio, TV, and print media in author’s home market
Throughout the campaign, we will reach out to local media in the author’s home market for potential interviews with local TV, print, and radio outlets. We will highlight local angles (if available) beyond just the author residing in that area. In addition, if the author has any public events (i.e. a bookstore signing) we will attempt to generate calendar listings with local newspapers and possible Web outlets

1 hour social media or general book publicity consultation

During this hour, the client can choose to discuss a social media campaign and how to effectively launch an effort in the social space (i.e. using Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, YouTube) or they can opt to discuss what a traditional publicity campaign should look like and how it should be timed out based on their goals, budgets, needs, etc.

• 1 hour phone media training
During this hour, the client will spend time with a senior member of our team (by phone), learning how to be an effective interviewee for any interview opportunities that they may be presented with. A heavy focus will be placed on radio interviews.

We will provide the author with any details they need related to coverage and will provide links to coverage as they become available.

Mailing to 50+ targeted book reviewers
Based on the type of book we are working with, we will compile a targeted list of book reviewers to send copies of the book to these contacts in hopes of securing a possible review. Please note that book reviewers do not accept verbal pitches, and review decisions are essentially at their whim.

• Direct outreach and follow-up with a minimum of 100 appropriate print outlets Throughout the course of the campaign, we will pitch the book and author to a targeted list of print outlets for potential coverage (non-review). This coverage will consist of interviews, features, mentions, news-driven quotes, round-ups, and possibly authored articles. Based on the subject matter of the book and the author’s expertise, we will connect with reporters who may be interested in the topic and speaking with someone who has an expertise on the topic. Our primary focus will be on newspapers, magazines, wires services, and other appropriate publications for the given title.
